Sophia's first haircut!

     Sophia will be 2 in June and I had never given her a haircut. Her hair was getting extra frizzy, especially the back, and I know it wasn't very even. So I decided it was time. I straightened it all out and couldn't believe how long it was! Can I just say I love that she holds still for me to straighten and cut her hair, and style it everyday. She was made for me! ha ha 

Look at that! It's like halfway down her back!! 

During the hair cut. She seriously just chilled and watched a cartoon. I just straightened out the back and added layers in the back to cut off a lot of dead ends. I trimmed the front too, just to even it up a little.

After the cut, hair still straight. The bangs in the front were driving her nuts so I pinned them back. I just love the way she looks like a different child with her hair straight.

     After the cut we gave her a shower and her hair went right back to curly. It may not look much different but it has made a big difference in the amount of frizz I see daily, and it was a big deal for me!!

Silly Baby

     Sophia has one of the goofiest personalities I have ever seen on a baby. I wish I could keep  a camera on her all the time so I could show everyone how funny she is. Seriously though I rarely have a dull moment with her around. I love it! Needless to say this is going to be a picture post.

      I know I already showed you the pictures of Sophia with the news paper but I took like five photos so here are a couple others.

Sophia has these PJs that have a hood and are a little small. I put them on her the other night and put the hood on and she gave me this scowl ha ha. Then i started laughing and she went and looked in the mirror and cracked up! It was so funny! She new she looked ridiculus!

She likes to stand on her head and walk around on her hands and feet like the kid off the jungle book.

At grandma Robertson's house over Christmas break Sophia found this old old polaroid camera that she kept trying to take pics with. it was really cute!

Trying to wear dads coat. Ha ha it was way huge. His coats are bigger than me, let alone Sophia!

We went to the car show this weekend and Sophia was getting sick of riding in the stroller. We were letting her hold our hands but she drops to the ground dead weight when she wants to walk  on her own. The only problem is she just runs away. So we just dragged her backwards around so she could see what was going on. Ha ha She loved it. She was laughing the whole time and kept making us do it.

AND my absolute favorite I straightened Sophia's hair! Normally her hair is curly and unruly! I straightened it and couldn't believe how long it was! She looked like a totally different person. She kept looking in the mirror and rubbing her head like it was so soft and straight ha ha! It was cute!

Crazy HUH? Tyler and I both just kept looking at her! ha ha These pictures aren't even half of the goofy things she does all the time! I just love her hilarious self. Anyway thanks for letting me brag about my hilarious child! Have a great day.

Wedding Hair

     This summer has been wedding crazy! Which means I have had a lot of projects going on. You will see some of those projects in later post's, as soon as I get pictures of them. As a work from home cosmetologist I often offer my services as gifts for the bride. Well this summer my sister and my almost sister got married so they would have gotten it free anyway ha ha.

      I love going to weddings because the couples are so happy and cute and they are just starting their lives together. You can always tell looking at them that they are so excited. As a married lady, going to weddings always makes me remember my wedding day and I feel that excitement all over again. I think it's important to remember how you felt on you wedding  day every once in a while, to remember the excitement and love you felt for your spouse.

     Anyway this first couple is my almost sister Alli. We are convinced we could have been twins in another life! Our personalities are so much alike. She is a beautiful red head and has this incredible long gorgeous hair. We did a loose curl look in the front and pinned it all up in a curly bun in the back.

    These next pics are of my little sister. I thought it would be weird when she got married but it's really not. Her and Matt are too perfect for each other. Both goofy, both loud, both hilarious! Briana wanted a simple classic look, so we curled her hair and pinned one side up with a little jeweled hair accessory.

How silly are they? Ha ha. Stay tuned for a lot of little wedding things I made for Briana's wedding! Her bridal shower is Saturday and her wedding is Thursday so a lot more fun things to come, and most likely a tutorial will be here Monday! Enjoy your day!
